Job Title: Strategic Import and Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

This is a critical role for the company, responsible for managing import activities and procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in supplier management, cost optimization, compliance with regulations, and ensuring timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire import cycle from indenting to delivery
  • Ensure compliance with all import/export regulations and documentation requirements
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, clearing agents, and shipping lines for smooth cargo clearance
  • Optimize duties, tariffs, and taxes while ensuring compliance with applicable laws
Procurement Management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure best pricing, quality, and lead times
  • Develop procurement strategies to reduce costs without compromising quality and timelines
  • Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and agreements according to company policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in imports, logistics, and procurement
  • Strong knowledge of import/export laws, customs regulations, and banking procedures
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
