As an Agricultural Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting pre-shipment inspections of rice, including visual quality determination and quantity assessment. Your role will also involve supervising loading operations, drawing samples, and preparing inspection reports.
This position requires a strong understanding of general inspection methods and procedures, as well as knowledge of rice inspection standards and sampling techniques. Familiarity with GAFTA Rules, ISO 7301, and ISO 24333 is essential.
- Conduct pre-shipment inspections of rice, including visual quality determination and quantity assessment.
- Supervise loading operations to ensure accurate and efficient transfer of goods.
- Draw samples according to established procedures and prepare composite samples for analysis.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
