Job Role

This Technical Consultant position requires a skilled professional who can work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions using Epicor Kinetic range of Products.

  1. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in C#, .NET, JavaScript, VB, SSRS, RDL or similar languages.
  2. They will be responsible for designing and implementing customised solutions that meet customer requirements.
  3. Mentoring and guiding less experienced team members is an essential part of this role.
  4. Liaising between the development team and stakeholders is crucial to ensure clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
  5. The successful candidate will lead team meetings, including sprints, retrospectives, and stand-ups, to drive project deliverables.
  6. They will also work closely with users to evaluate application requirements and ensure systems are completed within agreed time frames while adhering to design and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in computer science or software engineering.
  2. Have advanced skills in C#, .NET, JavaScript, VB, SSRS, RDL or similar languages.
  3. Be proficient in relational databases such as SQL Server, Postgres or MySQL.
  4. Advanced knowledge of software architecture with the ability to apply this knowledge to specific project deliverables.
  5. Be available to participate in after-hours calls with customers.
  6. Previous experience in a software development leadership role is desirable.
