Senior Systems Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Infrastructure Specialist to support our mission-critical integrations between source data and financial SaaS. As a key member of our Finance Technology Delivery team, you will manage and support infrastructure for modern, mid-scale, highly resilient, distributed messaging and services, tools, and applications.

About the Role
  • You will collaborate with your team to own solutions through the entire software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, deployment, testing, quality, security, compliance, monitoring, and support.
  • Implement build, deployment, and test automation to ensure high quality and enable continuous delivery.
  • You will assist the team in identifying and monitoring key metrics to support operational excellence of active systems.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and support infrastructure for modern, mid-scale, highly resilient, distributed messaging and services, tools, and applications for use by internal teams and external customers.
  2. Collaborate with your team to own solutions through the entire software development lifecycle.
  3. Implement build, deployment, and test automation.
  4. Assist the team in identifying and monitoring key metrics.
  5. Provide general infrastructure support for maintenance and compliance, such as server patching, monitoring, and audit report generation.
  6. Mentor team members and raise the overall technical knowledge across the spectrum.
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux and Windows infrastructures with deep expertise in OS updates, patching, and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Bash/Python for managing infrastructure in Linux and Unix environments.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix shell commands for managing infrastructure resources via CLI.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in backend development, preferably in enterprise or high-scale environments.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
