Software Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented software quality assurance professional with 2-3 years of experience in testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development life cycles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure the delivery of high-quality software projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing functional and design specifications to ensure a full understanding of individual deliverables, identifying test requirements from specifications, and designing comprehensive test plans and test cases.

The SQA Professional will also estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities, identify bugs, log defects, and work with the development team to resolve and verify fixes when implemented. Additionally, they will develop daily status reports and test summary reports for stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  1. Functional and Design Review: Review functional and design specifications to ensure a full understanding of individual deliverables.
  2. Test Planning and Coordination: Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  3. Bug Detection and Resolution: Identify bugs, log defects, and work with the development team to resolve and verify fixes when implemented.
  4. Reporting and Communication: Develop daily status reports and test summary reports for stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Methodology Knowledge: Strong understanding of testing methodologies and software development life cycles.
  • Analysis and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Communication and Teamwork Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with development teams and stakeholders.
  • Technical Competencies: Familiarity with logging defects, working with development teams, and regression, performance, and functional testing.
