Business Planning Professional

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume a key role in our organization. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of business plans that drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and update the organizational policy on Asset Liability Management (ALM), ensuring governance around the ALM process.
  • Analyze interest rate risk and liquidity risks of various banking products.
  • Monitor key developments and escalations from the Institutional Banking Group's Asset Liability Committee (ALCO).
  • Keep track of recovery plan triggers.
  • Analyze Net interest margin (NIM) on a monthly basis and provide insights to the Asset Liability Committee (ALCO).
  • Perform bank-wide Fund Transfer pricing (FTP) analysis.
  • Produce profit and loss analysis, funding center profit distribution, and handle ad-hoc analysis requirements of the funding center.
  • Prepare a Group ALCO pack on a monthly basis.
  • To automate reports in coordination with IT to improve operational efficiency.
  • To play a key role in new management reporting projects.
  • Ensure FTP systems comply with the FTP policy.
  • Guide overseas finance teams in FTP analysis and policies.
  • Annually refresh policies on FTP/ALM and other related policies like Group Capital Allocation policy, RAROC policy.
  • Review bank-level capital and overseas branches' capital position and prepare periodic reports for ALCO.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of RAROC and produce quarterly analysis of RAROC.

Requirements:

  • Chartered accountant with 10-12 years of banking experience in areas of management or financial reporting.
  • Ability to write codes to automate various Excel-based reports preferred. Excellent PC skills and seamless ability to work with all Microsoft applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint and PowerBI.
  • Excellent understanding of back-end systems and complexities of FTP/ALM processes.
  • Good knowledge of interest rate risks & liquidity risks of various banking products.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams in projects and deliver to expectations of key stakeholders.
  • Capable of understanding and communicating in a clear and concise fashion with various senior business group executives & other stakeholders across the bank on issues concerning transfer pricing, ALM, and projects.
