Portfolio Operations Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our global operations team as a Portfolio Operations Associate. The successful candidate will provide direct support to crypto hedge funds and trading clients, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their portfolios.

  • Maintain accurate daily reconciliations for client portfolios across exchanges and custodians.
  • Investigate and resolve breaks in position, cash, or P&L, ensuring accurate trade bookings in the PMS (Portfolio Management System).
  • Engage in real-time communication with hedge fund traders and operations teams to clarify discrepancies and operational gaps.
  • Post manual adjustments and backdated trades as needed to reflect correct exposure and performance.
  • Monitor operational flows and escalate issues internally to ensure fast, accurate client resolution.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and account teams to improve tooling and client support processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 2-4 years of professional experience in operations, finance, trading support, fund accounting, or audit.
  • Strong working knowledge of trade lifecycle, reconciliation, and portfolio or fund operations.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in speaking live with international hedge fund clients.
  • Experience or at least knowledge of working with any PMS, EMS, or reconciliation platform.
  • High attention to detail, comfort working independently, and ability to operate under pressure.
