Job Description:

This position involves leading and managing automation projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding client expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of project requirements and specifications, and the ability to design and implement DCS and PLC/HMI systems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a thorough understanding of project requirements and specifications.
  • Design and implement DCS and PLC/HMI systems, including programming and configuration.
  • Direct project engineers and distribute workload effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance on PLC/DCS projects to the project team.
  • Perform control panel design, both mechanical and electrical.
  • Verify activities for accuracy and project health.
  • Communicate current status to the project manager as needed.
  • Maintain QMS implementation and effectiveness.
  • Involve in design and internal testing of DCS and PLC systems.
  • Review and approve all design documents and drawings thoroughly.
  • Maintain communication hierarchy among project team members, as desired by the project manager.
  • Have adequate knowledge of procurement and material processes.
  • Update and maintain project plans and schedules.
  • Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and guide engineers to set up FAT.
  • Travel to project sites as required.
  • Assist with timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Follow up on pending tasks and activities.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on working experience with instruments, multiple DCS systems, PLCs, and HMI systems is essential.
  • Strong understanding of Information Technology and Services principles.
