Job Description:

Civil Engineering Project Support

A company is looking for an experienced AutoCAD draftsman to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of drafting experience in civil works, combined with strong documentation skills and hands-on use of tools such as AutoCAD, PlanSwift, PlanUp, and Bluebeam.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings, construction layouts, and site plans for residential and commercial retrofit projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings for construction projects.
  • Interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce clear, compliant plans.
  • Use AutoCAD or PlanSwift, PlanUp, and Bluebeam to measure, mark up, and prepare project drawings and estimates.
  • Manage and maintain technical documents including drawing registers, submission logs, and revisions.
  • Compile and organize reports using Microsoft Office and Nitro PDF for document formatting, editing, and annotations.
  • Coordinate with teams to support project design, updates, and job progress tracking.

Requirements:

  • DAE in Civil Engineering.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience with AutoCAD (2D drafting).
  • Working knowledge of PlanSwift, PlanUp, or Bluebeam.
  • Experience in document control and digital file management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PDF editing tools like Nitro PDF.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
