**About the Opportunity**

Motive Technologies is seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to spearhead the development of cutting-edge AI Dashcam software and Fleet Safety features.

This individual will define a technology vision, oversee engineering teams, and drive product outcomes.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology roadmap for building fleet and driver safety features.
  • Oversee the product and business outcomes of engineering teams to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop long-term product roadmaps that drive business growth.
  • Lead technical design discussions and drive the execution of high-quality functionalities.
  • Develop and evolve innovative development processes that promote efficiency and productivity.
  • Establish best practices and coding standards that foster a culture of excellence.
  • Hire, manage, and develop a diverse team of skilled engineers who share a passion for innovation.

**Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related domains with a focus on high-throughput and low-latency systems.
  • Experience working in high-scale distributed systems and agile product development.
  • 3+ years of experience managing 10+ engineers with a proven track record of success.
  • 5+ years of experience building high-scale distributed systems for a product company.
  • Technical expertise in cloud computing, front-end engineering, and infrastructure management.
  • Able to perform architectural work and define technical designs that drive business outcomes.
  • Proven success in hiring, managing, and promoting skilled engineers who are passionate about innovation.
  • An opinion on what makes a strong, healthy, and productive engineering culture.
