Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on economic policy matters relevant to Pakistan and the region.
  • Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain databases to track macroeconomic trends, government budgets, taxation reforms, and international trade developments.
  • Represent us as an expert in media, seminars, conferences, and other public forums.
  • Collaborate with national and international institutions for joint research and knowledge-sharing.
  • Support our advocacy efforts by providing data-backed inputs for policy recommendations.
Requirements
  • Master's degree holder (or higher) in Economics, Public Policy, International Trade, Development Studies, or a related field from a recognized university OR a Chartered Accountant (Member) OR a Chartered Financial Analyst.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in economic research, policy analysis, or advisory roles, preferably with a government department, multilateral or research institutions, or professional associations.
Skills Required
  • Demonstrated expertise and passion for macroeconomic analysis, particularly fiscal and taxation policy.
  • Strong publication record and interest in writing.
  • Familiarity with Pakistan's fiscal and taxation environment and good understanding of international fiscal dynamics.
