Senior Physiotherapist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Physiotherapist to lead our physiotherapy team.

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify their physical therapy needs.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical diagnosis and patient goals.
  • Oversee the physiotherapy team, ensuring high standards of patient safety and care.
  • Lead training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge within the practice.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in sports physical therapy and integrate evidence-based practices into treatment protocols.
  • Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and legal requirements.
  • Educate patients and families about rehabilitation exercises and injury prevention strategies.
  • Engage in research and professional development activities to contribute to the field and enhance personal expertise.
  • Represent the physiotherapy department in university meetings and contribute to departmental policy development.
  • Manage resources for the physiotherapy department to ensure efficient operations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy or related field.
  • At least three years of clinical experience in physiotherapy.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic practices and evidence-based treatment protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
