Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies, creating and executing automated test cases, and ensuring the quality of software applications.

This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, engage in defect management, mentor junior team members, and support process improvement initiatives. A strong foundation in database testing, financial reconciliation, and customer-facing systems is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning:
  1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications.
Test Execution:
  1. Execute test cases, identify defects, and report them to the development team.
Defect Management:
  1. Track and manage defects from identification to closure.
Communication:
  1. Communicate test results, defects, and progress to development teams, business users, and stakeholders.
Team Collaboration:
  1. Collaborate with QA team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
  1. 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance, specifically within the airline or travel industry.
Skills:
  1. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Tools and Technologies:
  1. Proficiency in programming languages like Java or Python.
  2. Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and basic web development concepts.
