NFV Core Network IMS Service Engineer

Hillcrest Solutions is seeking a skilled professional to oversee the delivery and technical support for IMS core network products, including equipment commissioning and debugging, upgrade and cutover, troubleshooting, and HLD/LLD Design.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  1. Planning and Designing of HLD/LLD Documents.
  2. Deployment of cloud core network elements.
  3. Software Installation and Commissioning.
  4. Integration of Network Elements.
  5. Migration of Subscribers/Traffic.
  6. Patch Upgrade and Expansion of Existing Network Elements.
  7. Troubleshooting of Network Issues.

Routine Actions Include:

  1. Supporting projects of vIMS Core entities (Knowledge of P/I/S-CSCF, HSS, SLF, TAS (ATS) BGCF, MGCF, MRFC, MRFP, AGW, IBCF) and VoLTE.
  2. Responsible for technical communication & clarification with operators, providing relevant solutions with support teams towards customer requirements.
  3. Ensuring smooth delivery of IMS Core related Projects.
  4. Knowledge of Internet security frameworks like ISO 2000, Security Framework Compliance.
  5. Support according to project requirements based on different time zones.
  6. Ready to travel anywhere as per business needs.

Preferred Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in ECE/Computer Science (IT)/ Computer Science or related fields.
  • Extensive experience with SIP call processing and SIP supplementary services.
  • In-depth understanding of Telecom protocols and technologies like SIP, SDP, H.248, MGCP, DIAMETER etc.
  • Experience in TCP/IPSEC/IP protocols.
  • Great conceptual understanding of IMS evolution and trends - IMS subsystems, functionalities and IMS SIP services call flows.
  • Working experience on IMS interworking entities (P/I/S-CSCF, HSS, SLF, TAS(ATS) BGCF, MGCF, MRFC, MRFP, AGW, IBCF) and interfaces.
  • Knowledge on Session Border Controller, NAT, Firewall, Authentication Encryption, L2 Layer switches (Routers/Switches).
  • Installation and commissioning experience.
  • HLD and LLD Designing experience is a plus.
  • Cloud SAAS, IAAS and PAAS basic knowledge.
