We are embarking on a significant data transformation initiative, where the accuracy and consistency of our data will play a pivotal role in driving business outcomes. As we navigate this evolving landscape, the ability to orchestrate the delivery of high-quality data to the business is crucial.

This role will serve as a central hub, working closely with the Technology Team and Product Owner to ensure seamless data delivery. You will collaborate with Product Management, Scrum Master, Stakeholders, and other teams to gather requirements, challenge processes, and drive continuous improvement within the Technology area.

You will be responsible for effectively communicating with both business and technical stakeholders to capture requirements for new data solutions and translate them into actionable technical deliverables. Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working with Financial Directors and Business Stakeholders to understand business logic and translate it into actionable requirements.
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications for the Technology team.
  • Closely collaborating with Solution Architects and business stakeholders to deliver informed solutions and test strategies.
  • Assisting Sprint Managers in grooming and managing the team backlog, incorporating input from system architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Liaising with sprint managers and QA leads to ensure efficient delivery aligned with business expectations.
  • Proactively driving process improvements across the Business-facing side of the Technology Team.
  • Sharing knowledge with the wider business, working with other BAs and technology teams to document processes and ways of working.
  • Clearly communicating status and blockers to the business.
  • Maintaining end-to-end knowledge of the data landscape and shaping future technological decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of LDW and Data Lake architecture.
  • Experience working in high-priority data projects.
  • Extensive expertise in breaking down complex problems, documenting clearly, and prioritizing tasks.
  • Able to collaborate with a wide range of technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in agile environments and adapting to fast-paced organizations.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies and designing processes to improve efficiency.
  • Understanding of big data projects and communication skills to adjust stories based on context.
  • Highly technical with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
  • Confident, self-motivated, and able to challenge when necessary.
  • Structured, organized, and able to work in cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.
