Production Operations Director

About the Role:

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing plant equipment and production operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing production capacity, process efficiency, and sales demand.

The Production Operations Director will lead a team of staff to plan, analyze, and implement work schedules for training and monitoring. This role requires strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills, as well as technical knowledge of production processes and proficiency in MS Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage plant equipment and production to meet targeted plans and optimize resource utilization.
  • Monitor production capacity, process efficiency, and sales demand to identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with maintenance department and senior levels to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure quality control parameters are met and reduce in-house defects through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Afficiently use raw materials, control wastage, and maintain inventories to minimize costs and maximize productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Technical knowledge of production processes and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving and pressure management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of polypropylene and its applications.
