Job Description

As a Junior Quality Control specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software applications. Your primary responsibility will be to perform thorough testing on these applications to identify bugs and verify their functionality.

  • Test software applications to identify bugs and ensure they meet customer requirements.
  • Develop test cases and test scripts to execute testing procedures.
  • Report identified bugs through our designated bug tracking system and work with the development team to resolve them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.
  • Participate in test planning and estimation to ensure that testing tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless communication and timely completion of testing tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  • Knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with test case design and execution.
  • Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) is essential.
