Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the technical infrastructure of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain physical and virtual infrastructure for all clients.
  • Upgrade servers, increase RAMs, and hard drives, and network cards to optimize hardware performance.
  • Implement security patches in all servers and other appliances.
  • Manage endpoint security by keeping EDRs, Avs, and patch management up to date for all clients.
  • Interact with other teams, network, cloud, and helpdesk to optimize client infrastructure.
  • Manage storage area network for clients, wherever applicable.
  • Fix operating system-related issues.
  • Maintain access rights and file server security.
  • Serve as a technical expert in system administration for complex operating systems.
  • Install and configure new software and hardware.
  • Monitor system performance, IT system operations, and storage utilization.
  • Plan for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth.
  • Manage user accounts and assets, and assign and update security permissions on the network according to security policy.
  • Design system architecture/solutions as per requirement.
  • Implement disaster recovery, fault tolerance, and fallback solutions for a virtual environment.
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
  • Update/upgrade of all servers and other equipment patches and firmware.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in system engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of network security and protocols.
  • Proficient in various operating systems and software applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
