Job Title: Senior Medical Officer - Cardiopulmonary Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Officer to join our team as a Cardiopulmonary Specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and be able to provide medical supervision to all diagnostic procedures performed at our diagnostic services.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and perform Exercise Tolerance Test (ETT) by monitoring ECG rhythm as per defined protocols and permissions granted
  2. Perform physical examinations and monitor patients' progress vigilantly
  3. Communicate patients' progress to concerned Consultants, patients, and/or families
  4. Assess patients and take consent from patients for procedures performed as per hospital protocols
  5. Fully document patients' data and progress in automated reports
  6. Participate in educational activities such as Grand Rounds, ECG conferences, and Journal Clubs
  7. Maintain awareness of infection control practices and adhere to them in the workplace
  8. Enhance technical skills of on-board and trainee technologists through continuous education sessions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • MBBS degree with Diploma (MCPS) or other additional qualifications preferred
  • At least 5 years of post-MBBS experience in cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
