About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Cash and Bank Sales Reconciliation: Reconcile cash and bank sales, recording all transactions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Bank Payments: Handle bank payments for purchases and maintain evidence keeping records.
  • Credit Purchases: Record credit purchases and maintain evidence keeping records.
  • Double Entry Bookkeeping: Perform double entry bookkeeping in QuickBooks, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and up-to-date.
  • Bank Reconciliation Statements: Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements, providing a clear and accurate picture of the company's financial position.
  • Cash Locker Handling: In the absence of the supervisor, handle the Cash Locker.
Requirements

To be successful as an Accountant, you will need:

  • A strong background in financial management
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
