Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Application Functional Administrator to implement and maintain Oracle Financials, Supply Chain, and Oracle Project Costing modules.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing the full lifecycle of Oracle Financials (AR, AP, GL, FA) and Oracle Projects, including understanding business processes and mapping them with Oracle e-business.

Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle Implementation: Implement the full lifecycle of Oracle Financials (AR, AP, GL, FA) and Oracle Projects.
  • Business Solutions: Provide independent business solutions and have knowledge of Oracle Fusion.
  • System Strategy and Configuration: Assist in system strategy, gather and document business requirements, lead fit-gap analysis, design as-is and to-be business process designs, prototype demonstration, functional configuration, testing, training documentation, and end-user training.
  • Setup and Configuration: Set up Budgetary Control (Centralized and De-Centralized), Security and Cross-Validation Rules, FSG, Depreciation, Key and Descriptive Flex fields, Pro-rate Conventions, Mass Additions, Profile Options, Responsibilities, Menus, Users, Sequential Numbering, etc.
  • Reconciliation and Accounting: Reconcile cycles between subsidiary modules and General Ledger with an understanding of Sub-ledger Accounting (XLA).
  • Integration and APIs: Working knowledge of SQL and integration with other systems via interfaces and working knowledge of APIs.
  • Forms Personalization: Perform forms personalization for any additional control implementation not available in standard application.
  • Multitasking and Communication: Multi-task, manage time effectively, service multiple projects, plan, and remain organized. Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Module Implementation: Independently handle all matters related to Oracle Financial modules (AR, AP, GL, FA), Supply Chain modules, and Oracle Project Costing module. This includes implementation of new modules, enhancement of existing functionalities, and upgrade to new Oracle releases with proper documentation.
  • Coordination and Support: Coordinate with end-user departments and other business users for day-to-day activities and resolve issues amicably. Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming technologies and coordinate with Oracle Support, System & Database Administration team.
  • Report Development: Coordinate with Report development team for customized reports.
