Our organization seeks a highly skilled writer to join our team as a creative storyteller. As part of this role, you will be responsible for developing engaging content that ignites passion and brings stories to life.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional media, coupled with expertise in digital media. You will be expected to combine these passions into captivating channels such as newsletters, requests, campaigns, and more.

We are committed to pioneering groundbreaking initiatives in social enterprise development in Pakistan through our work at TOGETHER. As a Creative Development Executive, you will play a key role in developing supporting materials and external communications under the guidance of our Head of Development.

About the Role:
  • Create and edit diverse content related to our fundraising efforts, including newsletters, articles, appeal letters, talking points, web content, e-communications, presentations, proposals, cases for giving, and special projects for a broad audience.
  • Collaborate with Departmental Heads to ensure communication material reflects our mission and priorities, soliciting input from all departments to craft a development communications strategy.
  • Develop schedules and timelines for timely execution of fundraising collateral in coordination with our Development Team.
  • Manage external messages, conduct interviews, write articles, and outreach pieces.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Generate innovative ideas for designing various concepts and products/campaigns.
  • Coordinate with our Design team.
  • Oversee administrative tasks for our Development Department.
  • Maintain self-discipline and effective time management.
What We're Looking For:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urdu and English (desired).
  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in Development or Direct Marketing and Communications.
  • Demonstrated exceptional writing and editing abilities through provided writing samples.
  • A creative individual with fresh concepts.
  • A detail-oriented and accurate proofreader.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Proficiency with computer programs and databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A degree in Journalism, Communications, or Liberal Arts.
  • Familiarity with the academic environment.
  • Experience and knowledge of fundraising programs.
