System Administrator Role

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • At least three years of experience in a System Administrator/Engineer role or similar, with a proven track record of success.
  • Expertise in managing datacenter operations, servers, RAID management, databases (SQL Server), networks (LAN, WAN), Windows, and Linux administration, patch management, OS upgrades, troubleshooting, and ensuring maximum system availability.
  • Hands-on experience with Dell, H3C servers, and storage solutions is highly valued.
  • A minimum of one year's practical experience in virtualization technologies (VMware, H3C HCI, Sangfor, OpenStack, Proxmox) in production environments is essential.
  • Mid-level expertise in Active Directory, DNS, NTP is required.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms is a must.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting is necessary.
  • Strong resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, and excellent troubleshooting abilities are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is mandatory; professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), VCP-DCV) are highly desirable.
