Job Description

As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will play a critical role in the preparation and submission of tax returns for multiple business entities. This includes assisting with federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns, as well as preparing tax payment estimates, extensions, cash tax projections, and planning.

You will also be responsible for assisting with annual state and local apportionment data packages, and preparing domestic and foreign quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with IFRS. Additionally, you will assist with federal and state regulatory audits, including the preparation of responses to information requests and review of tax assessments for accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, business, or specialization in tax.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects while maintaining excellent work quality. Some overtime may be required when needed.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of US GAAP tax accounting principles and good knowledge of the U.S. tax system.
  • Experience with Excel applications, other Microsoft Office products, and accounting business applications.
