Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our VMware environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Determine Business Requirements
    • Determine business needs and assess existing infrastructure and systems.
  • VMware Infrastructure Management
    • Manage the installation, configuration, and monitoring of VMware infrastructure.
    • Implement VMware fault tolerance and HA configurations.
  • Troubleshooting and Support
    • Troubleshoot and resolve VMware environment issues.
  • Server Administration
    • Install, configure, and administer Windows & Linux Servers.
  • SAN Switch Management
    • Install, configure, and manage SAN switches.
  • Vulnerability Management
    • Deploy and monitor vulnerabilities scanners.
  • Disaster Recovery
    • Prepare DR sites, rack mount servers, install, and configure them.
    • Monitor datacenters, rack mount new servers, install, and manage them.
  • Storage System Management
    • Ensure the health and capacity of storage systems (SAN) by managing, installing, and maintaining them.
  • Security and Compliance
    • Maintain security and compliance on all data center systems.
  • Linux Services Management
    • Manage Linux services and processes.
  • Storage Management
    • Manage Linux and Windows storage and partitions.
  • Cron Jobs and Bash Scripting
    • Schedule Linux jobs using crontab and bash scripting.
  • Nginx Configuration
    • Configure Nginx as a reverse proxy.
  • System Maintenance
    • Deploy system maintenance as needed.
  • PAM Implementation
    • Implement and manage PAM.
  • Endpoint Management
    • Experience with Ivanti, Intune for endpoint management.
  • Endpoint Protection
    • Endpoint protection using MS Defender.
  • Backup Management
    • Manage backups using Veeam and Data Domain.
  • Docker Containerization
    • Work with Docker containers and images.
  • Docker File Deployment
    • Create and deploy Docker files and images.
  • Docker Compose Files
    • Use Docker Compose files.
