Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle database administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database administration, including experience with Oracle 12c/19c, Data Guard, RAC, Advanced Security, and other related technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support Oracle databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Design, implement, and maintain backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN configurations.
  • Coordinate Oracle DB work with other systems administrators and IT teams.
  • Develop and enforce standards and best practices for database administration.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to users.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in database administration, with 7+ years directly supporting Oracle database technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c, Data Guard, RAC, Advanced Security, and other related technologies.
  • Ability to develop and enforce standards and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle certifications or equivalents.
  • Experience working in a financial services or banking environment.
  • Knowledge of other database technologies (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).
