Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Android App Developer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and building high-quality mobile applications using your expertise in application architecture and the latest mobile technologies.

In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams to develop functional mobile applications that meet business requirements. You will work in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your knowledge of mobile platforms and coding skills to create user-friendly apps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop advanced Android applications using industry-leading technologies and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features, ensuring seamless integration with existing applications.
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability, to deliver high-quality products.
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance, applying problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, continuously discovering and implementing new tools and techniques to maximize development efficiency.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the Android SDK and how to effectively handle different screen sizes.
  • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON, as well as third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Develop a solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, from planning to deployment.
  • Apply your knowledge of MVC, MVVM, Architecture components, and memory management to create efficient and scalable applications.
  • Utilize ROOM models to define relationships, access data using DAOs, and implement offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in ROOM and SQLite, performing CRUD operations, JOINs, and RDBMS tasks.
  • Showcase good understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns, ensuring maintainable and efficient code.
  • Familiarity with additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers, is also desired.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements, demonstrating effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Firebase real-time database, remote config, cloud message APIs, and push notifications is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines is essential for creating visually appealing and user-friendly applications.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools is necessary for collaboration and code management.
  • Working experience with Google Maps & Navigation APIs and strong skills in Gradle and Android Studio are highly valued.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of standalone mobile app development experience.
  • At least 5-10 live apps on the Play Store.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.
