Production Manager

The Production Incharge – Stitching Unit is a critical role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of the stitching floor.
Key Responsibilities:- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role in garment manufacturing, preferably in the stitching unit.
- Strong knowledge of stitching techniques, machinery, and garment construction is essential.
- Supervise and manage stitching operators and helpers on the production floor to ensure seamless workflow.
- Production targets and deadlines must be met as per the daily and weekly production plans.
- Monitor stitching quality and coordinate with the Quality Control team to minimize defects and rework.
- Conduct hourly checks to track progress and provide support to resolve technical or operational issues promptly.
- Plan and allocate manpower efficiently based on skill levels and production requirements for optimal output.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and housekeeping standards in the stitching area at all times.
- Provide on-the-job training to workers to improve productivity and skill levels continuously.
- Report daily production status, issues, and improvement suggestions to higher management regularly.
- Coordinate with other departments such as cutting, finishing, and planning to ensure smooth workflow and maximize efficiency.
