Job Details

Seeking an experienced transcriptionist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transcribe audio and video files into text format.
  • Maintain accuracy of source files throughout the transcription process.
  • Understand and apply both intelligent and verbatim modes of transcription.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest transcribing trends and methods through ongoing training.
  • Follow client guidelines and adhere to formatting instructions provided by the company.
Requirements & Skills:

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to thoroughly understand British accents, including Scottish and Welsh dialects.
  • Familiarity with transcribing software, such as Otter AI.
  • Capacity to manage large volumes of work efficiently.
  • Enhanced listening skills.
  • Fast and accurate typing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software tools.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • A minimum typing speed of 50-55 words per minute is preferred.
  • Keen attention to detail is essential.
