Key Responsibilities:
  1. Gather up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies and industry trends.
  2. Provide and share broad knowledge of technologies and architectures and function as a mentor within your product stream and with the rest of the team.
  3. Collaborate with other Leads and Seniors to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  4. Promote company-wide coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  5. Demonstrate technical leadership and mentorship by setting challenging goals and guiding team efforts towards successful project delivery.
  6. Impact the direction and scope of the company's technical vision within your stream.
  7. Closely collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, Design, UX, CLM, and Strategy teams to deliver high-quality products.
  8. Hire talented engineers to build High Performing Teams, constantly raising the bar of engineering talent.
  9. Own business KPIs as a conduit to the Product team and business functions.
  10. Be accountable for the technical direction, ensuring daily decisions align with the company vision and direction.
  11. Coach individuals in the team to become future technical leaders.
Requirements:
  1. 9+ years of experience in software engineering.
  2. In-depth understanding of Javascript and ReactJS.
  3. In-depth understanding of free and open-source web application frameworks, e.g., NextJS.
  4. Knowledge of source code control, build process management, CI/CD, automated testing, and development processes.
  5. Understanding of creating and architecting highly scalable and available systems.
  6. Good understanding of leadership, coaching, and mentoring principles.
  7. Experience working on high-traffic and large-scale web products is beneficial.
  8. Experience with Agile Methodologies such as Kanban, Scrum, and XP.
  9. Understanding of good product, design, and UX principles.
  10. Experience in analysis, design, coding, and implementation of next-generation web applications.
