Cloud Reliability Engineer

Job Title: Reliability Engineering Specialist

This role requires a skilled professional to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-native services on Azure.

Main Responsibilities:

• ">
• Design, implement, and manage monitoring and observability solutions using Datadog for infrastructure and application performance.">
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of cloud-native services on Azure.">
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.">
• Automate monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows to reduce MTTR and improve operational efficiency.">
• Operate ServiceNow for efficient incident, problem, and change management processes.">
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and develop preventive solutions for recurring issues.">
• Drive continuous improvement of system reliability, performance, and security.">
• Participate in an on-call rotation and contribute to a blameless postmortem culture.">

Requirements:

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

• ">
• 3+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Operations Engineer.">
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure services (Azure Monitor, App Services, etc.).">
• Expertise in Datadog for observability, monitoring dashboards, custom metrics, and alerting.">
• Solid understanding of monitoring systems, logging, tracing, and incident management best practices.">
• Experience integrating and working with ServiceNow for ITSM processes.">
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.">
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.">
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.">
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.">
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) is a plus.">

Preferred Qualifications:

• ">
• Certifications in Azure (AZ-104, AZ-400) and/or Datadog.">
• Experience with other observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.">
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and frameworks.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of cloud computing, monitoring systems, and IT service management.

They should be proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python, and have experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.

Azure certifications and experience with Datadog are highly desirable, as well as knowledge of ITIL practices and frameworks.

In addition, experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and containerization technologies like Kubernetes (AKS) would be an asset.
