We're seeking a skilled 2D animator to create engaging animations using Toon Boom Harmony. The ideal candidate will have experience in animating assets based on storyboards, improving scenes or shots for effective storytelling, and integrating audio components.

The selected individual will be responsible for drafting rough drafts, preparing animatics based on storyboards, and crafting high-quality 2D animations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafts: Prepare detailed animation concepts and present them to the team.
  • Animation Creation: Develop compelling 2D animations using Toon Boom Harmony, combining creativity with technical precision.
  • Design & Illustration: Utilize Adobe Illustrator to create or modify character designs, backgrounds, and other relevant assets.
  • Post-Production: Employ Adobe After Effects for compositing, effects, and other post-production enhancements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with directors and writers to ensure alignment with the project's vision.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (BFA), Master's degree in Fine Arts (MFA), or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe After Effects.
  • A keen eye for detail, color, and design principles.
  • Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to translate narratives into captivating visual sequences.
  • Fluency in English.
