System Manager Electrical Engineering

This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in a wide range of tasks including system analysis, improvement works, fault trending, condition monitoring, and maintenance contracts.

We are seeking an experienced System Manager with expertise in electrical systems to oversee operations and maintenance at Changi Airport Terminal 4. As part of the engineering team, you will collaborate closely with the Facility Management team to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

  • Oversight and management of electrical systems including low tension power, lighting, and extra low voltage systems such as fire alarms and public address/emergency voice communication.
  • Planning and implementation of end-of-life replacement works and minor improvement projects to enhance facility systems.
  • Fault trending and system analysis to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
  • Condition monitoring to ensure systems remain operational and efficient.
  • Management of maintenance contracts and cost budgets.
  • Support for improvement/replacement works aligning with operational needs and cross-divisional collaboration.

You will lead and participate in structured analysis processes such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). Additionally, you will contribute to innovations, sensorization, and digitalization solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full project lifecycle from planning, tender calls, evaluation, and execution.
  • Oversee and manage the operations and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Plan and implement end-of-life replacement works and minor improvement projects.
  • Conduct fault trending and system analysis.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 to 7 years of relevant technical working experience.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent team player with a positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and driven to perform at a high level.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work independently.
  • Analytical with excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining a high motivation for work excellence.
  • Knowledge of relevant M&E Singapore standards and maintenance practices.
