Job Opportunity: Research and Development Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Specialist to join our team.
- A PhD in Biotechnology or related field is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research projects, working closely with a team of experts in the field.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including:
- Investigating the prevalence of ESBL-producing coliforms and Shiga toxin-producing E. coli in retail meat samples.
- Developing new assays for the detection of these pathogens.
- Collaborating with colleagues to design and implement studies to evaluate the impact of these pathogens on human health.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, microbiology, and biotechnology, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
This is a fixed-term contract position for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability of funds.
