We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer & Drafter to join our team. This role is critical in supporting the structural design and drafting of custom building projects, ensuring safety, comfort, and engineering compliance.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineers to produce accurate designs using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, and other specialized drafting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed drawings and blueprints for custom building projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs meet regulatory and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot design challenges and provide innovative solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and production staff.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and SketchUp.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
