Backend Engineering Role

Our organization is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to design and build high-performance systems for an institutional trading platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain performant APIs and connectivity modules for external venues (REST, WebSocket, FIX).
  • Design and implement high-quality, low-latency integrations for order routing, trade execution, and data ingestion.
  • Monitor and support venue connections and real-time data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to support exchange onboarding and new product launches.
  • Contribute to system reliability and observability through proper logging and monitoring.
  • Develop comprehensive automated tests for production readiness.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on backend or connectivity engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Golang or similar languages (e.g., C++, Rust, C#).
  • Experience integrating with crypto or financial trading venues (CeFi or DeFi).
  • Familiarity with WebSocket, REST, and FIX APIs.
  • Background in high-performance distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native development, Docker, CI/CD.
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience in low-latency trading systems or crypto market makers.
  • Prior work on Execution or Portfolio Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with performance testing and debugging distributed environments.
  • Exposure to DeFi protocols or streaming data infrastructure.
