About the Role

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to drive technical direction, make architecture decisions, and ensure code quality through best practices and code reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver software projects with ownership and accountability.
  • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support career development for team members.
  • Foster a culture of discipline and timely delivery across all engineering initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to align technical execution with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails, solid understanding of large-scale architecture and system design.
  • 2+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and team scaling.
  • Strong background in modern JavaScript front-end frameworks and UI design systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive technical direction, make architecture decisions, and ensure high code quality through best practices and code reviews.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with experience working closely with product and design teams.
