Electrical Maintenance Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems and machinery in a factory and head office setting. This involves carrying out day-to-day maintenance tasks, adhering to preventive and corrective schedules to minimize machine breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Scheduling: Accurately follow the established preventive and corrective maintenance schedule for machines, equipment, and building systems.
  • Equipment Optimization: Ensure that machine breakdowns are minimized and do not exceed 2% annually.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical panels, wiring, lights, motors, and control systems.
  • System Support: Assist in maintaining HVAC, generators, UPS, and other electrical systems at the head office and plant.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintain proper recordkeeping of maintenance tasks and breakdown history.
  • Safety Protocols: Follow safety protocols and standards while performing all tasks.
  • Issue Reporting: Report any recurring issues or required spare parts to the supervisor on time.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: DAE in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance (industrial setting preferred).
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, motor controls, and safety standards.
  • Work Schedule: Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergencies when needed.
  • Teamwork: Team player with a responsible attitude toward work.
