Job Title: Sr. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Technical Consultant

We are seeking a highly seasoned Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect with deep and demonstrable expertise in every corner of the OCI ecosystem, particularly around security, governance, and enterprise-scale cloud architecture.

About the Role

  • You will be the go-to authority for all things OCI, leading the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments across multiple business units.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    1. Lead the architecture and implementation of OCI-based solutions across compute, storage, networking, and databases.

    2. Own the security architecture across OCI — including IAM, policies, compartments, encryption, WAF, VCN security, and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).

    3. Evaluate, recommend, and implement OCI services including but not limited to: Autonomous Database, Data Safe, Cloud Guard, Vault, Identity Domains, and more.

    4. Design and maintain landing zones, tenancy configurations, and multi-region disaster recovery strategies.

    5. Collaborate with security, devops, infrastructure, and compliance teams to enforce least privilege, secure CI/CD pipelines, and monitor threats.

    6. Lead incident response and cloud security posture reviews using OCI-native tools.

    7. Advise leadership and stakeholders on OCI best practices and emerging features.

What We're Looking For

  • Requirements:

    1. Extensive hands-on experience (minimum 10+ years) with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

    2. OCI Certified Architect Professional (required); additional certifications a plus.

    3. Deep understanding of OCI security controls, encryption mechanisms, IAM design, and secure network topologies.

    4. Strong experience with Terraform/OCI Resource Manager, scripting (Python, Bash), and automation of OCI infrastructure.

    5. Proven track record of securing high-scale OCI environments in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government, etc.).

    6. Exceptional troubleshooting skills across cloud networking, access controls, logging, and cost management.

    7. Excellent communication skills — able to translate highly technical OCI features into practical enterprise solutions.

    8. Experience integrating OCI with third-party security and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Palo Alto, Tenable).

    9. Familiarity with hybrid cloud or multicloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

    10. Prior work in an Oracle-first enterprise environment.
