Job Description

Skillset Overview:

We seek a skilled and experienced WordPress developer to create high-quality themes and plugins from scratch. Key responsibilities include executing coding of web-related projects, developing custom WordPress themes, creating bespoke plugins, documenting technical specifications, and ensuring timely completion of commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute coding of web-related projects using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Develop custom WordPress themes from PSD files with attention to detail and responsiveness.
  • Create bespoke plugins and develop modules for WordPress with clean, logical code.
  • Document technical and functional specifications for future reference.
  • Evaluate and ensure timely completion of commercial projects with efficient task management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1.5 – 2 years of experience in WordPress theme creation from scratch with proficiency in Core PHP.
  • Familiarity with database design and writing SQL queries with expertise in MySQL.
  • Strong knowledge of programming in HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, AJAX, jQuery, and PHP Frameworks.
  • Excellent understanding of web frontend and WordPress themes with ability to create responsive designs.
  • Able to write clean, logical, well-documented, and re-usable code with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and complete tasks efficiently with effective time management.
