Job Overview

  • We are seeking a seasoned financial leader to oversee all financial activities and drive strategic growth.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing budgets, designing smart financial strategies, and creating strong risk management plans. They should also be able to improve financial processes to save time, cut risks, and boost efficiency.

Candidates must have a proven track record of leading internal audits to ensure rules are followed and finances stay transparent. Additionally, they should have a deep understanding of the unique financial needs and agility required in startup ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial activities to manage budgets and control costs company-wide.
  • Design smart financial strategies to boost profits and support growth.
  • Create strong risk management plans to protect finances.
  • Improve financial processes to save time, cut risks, and boost efficiency.
  • Lead internal audits to ensure rules are followed and finances stay transparent.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CA, ACCA, CFA, or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 8 - 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 35 years in early to mid-stage startups.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, and strategic financial planning.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Strong leadership qualities able to mentor, build, and lead small finance teams.
  • Hands-on and proactive comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Tech-savvy proficient in financial software and digital reporting tools.
  • High integrity and a commitment to transparency and ethical finance practices.
