Financial Reporting Specialist

The position of Financial Reporting Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting concepts, including IFRS, and be able to apply this knowledge to perform group financial reporting, including detailed assessments of transactions and events.

  • Perform monthly closing to ensure service delivery aligns with agreed KPIs and targets.
  • Prepare monthly closing dashboards, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and commentaries.
  • Assist in accounting and IFRS reporting for strategic projects related to HQ entities.
  • Actively participate in the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of ERP and associated systems.
  • Support management reporting, income tax reporting, VAT filing, other statutory reporting, and external/internal audits facilitation.
  • Evaluate business challenges relevant to key operations and formulate solutions to address them effectively.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Member of a professional accounting body.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, ACCA.
  • 8-10 years of experience in financial reporting.
  • Expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), GRS Hyperion Financial Management, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, process-oriented approach towards problem-solving.
  • Interpersonal, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
