A prestigious university is seeking highly qualified professionals for teaching positions at its School of Languages & Literature.

Available Positions
  • Lecturer:
    • First Class MS/MPhil degree awarded after 18 years of education in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized University/Institution with no third division in the academic career. No third division condition does not apply if a candidate holds a higher degree such as PhD or equivalent degree with not more than one third division throughout their academic career.
  • Assistant Professor:
    • PhD in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.
  • Associate Professor:
    • PhD in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.
  • Professor:
    • Minimum qualification of PhD from an HEC-recognized Institution in a relevant field.
Experience Requirements

For Lecturer: At least 10 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized University or postgraduate Institution or professional experience in a relevant field in a National or International organization. Alternatively, 5 years of post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized University or postgraduate Institution or professional experience in a relevant field in a National or International organization.

For Assistant Professor: 15 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized University or postgraduate Institution or professional experience in a relevant field in a National or International organization. Alternatively, 10 years of post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized University or postgraduate Institution or professional experience in a relevant field in a National or International organization.

Research Publication Requirements

For Lecturer: The applicant must have at least 10 research publications, including at least 4 publications in the last 5 years in HEC-recognized journals.

For Professor: The applicant must have at least 15 research publications, including at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC-recognized journals.

Courses Taught

The following courses are offered at the School of Languages & Literature: Foundation of Literary Theory & Criticism, Geography, Morphology, Human Rights & Citizenship, International Relations, Environmental Studies, Pakistani Literature, and other relevant courses and specializations.
