Technical ExpertiseWe are seeking a Materials Scientist to lead our heat treatment team. As a subject matter expert, you will have extensive knowledge of metallurgical processes and heat treatment techniques.
About the Role
You will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing metal properties to determine the appropriate heat treatment processes, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will also be responsible for maintenance and update of technical documentation related to heat treatment procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluation and analysis of metal properties to determine suitable heat treatment processes
- Maintenance and update of technical documentation related to heat treatment procedures
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams including production, quality control, and research and development
Requirements
- Engineering degree in Metallurgy or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role preferably in steel chains manufacturing industry
- Extensive knowledge of metallurgical processes and heat treatment techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in using metallurgical testing and analysis tools
