Job Description:

Software Development Role

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team. This role involves working closely with project managers and other development team members to create detailed specification documents.

The ideal candidate will have experience in HTML/XHTML, CSS, PHP, ASP, JSP, MySQL, MSSQL, or Oracle, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

You will also be responsible for determining appropriate architecture and technical solutions, communicating progress and delays to the project manager, and engaging in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines.
  • Produce project estimates during the sales process.
  • Attend client meetings during the sales and development processes.
  • Work with clients and project managers to build and refine graphic designs for websites.
  • Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into CSS/XHTML themes.
  • Determine appropriate architecture and technical solutions.
  • Communicate progress and delays to the project manager.
  • Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to clients.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience with HTML/XHTML and CSS.
  • At least 2 years of web programming experience, including PHP, ASP, or JSP.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL, or Oracle.
  • Development experience using extensible web authoring tools.
  • Experience developing and implementing open source software projects.
  • Strong self-management skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
