Software Quality Assurance Engineer

The ideal candidate will have experience in software quality assurance and automation testing, with a solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Design, execute, and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Identify, analyze, and report software defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Conduct manual testing for web applications, mobile apps, and platforms to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet business requirements.
  • Perform end-to-end testing on websites, webshops, and apps to identify issues in UX, responsiveness, and performance.
  • Design, execute, and maintain automated and manual test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes and automation frameworks.
  • Monitor and analyze test results to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Thoroughly document test cases, procedures, and results.

Required Skills:

Must Have:

  • Strong manual testing experience for websites, apps, and digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar.
  • Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in performance and security testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
  • Understanding of cloud-based testing environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.
  • Relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
