Aga Khan University is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Office Helper in its Department of Oncology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the department, ensuring the smooth operation of office tasks and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain office supplies and equipment
- Provide administrative support to faculty and staff
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
- Create and update files and records
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels
- Ensure the availability of kitchen supplies and materials
- Make and serve tea and coffee for guests and staff
- Handle mail receiving and despatching activity across departments
- Assist with office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and delivering files
Requirements
- At least Matric with 1-2 years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of office cleanliness and organization
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow simple instructions and take direction
