
Renewable Energy Sales Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Sales Specialist to provide techno-commercial support, sales engineering, communication, customer service, and sales activities for our renewable energy projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing Business Strategies: Develop business strategies to grow our product portfolio in the renewable sector by understanding clients' needs and market trends.
- Establishing Sales Plans: Create effective sales plans to expand our presence in power generation, transmission, and distribution sectors by identifying new opportunities and developing targeted sales approaches.
- Driving Business Development: Lead business development efforts for major/key opportunities in coordination with area offices and business line/functional heads to align with defined strategy.
- Project Management: Maintain all projects, opportunities, & tenders list for large opportunities in Salesforce.
- Market Sector Coordination: Oversee and coordinate market sector tribe/network to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Client Satisfaction: Ensure high client satisfaction levels through effective communication and issue resolution.
- Tender Preparation: Identify, prepare, and submit pre-qualification, expression of interest, offers & tenders, including offer and contract review.
- Account Management: Manage and grow key accounts as may be defined by Sales Manager and BL Manager.
- Marketing Support: Provide marketing tools such as presentation materials, profiles, catalogs, reference lists, completion/appreciation letters, etc., to business units.
Necessary Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power, or a relevant field.
- Experience: 4-8 years of Sales/BD experience in the renewable sector or related.
- Commercial Expertise: Experience in pricing strategies, financial modeling, and contracts negotiation.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical and commercial information clearly and concisely to clients and stakeholders.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software. Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) is an advantage.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in technical and financial documentation.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and align them with tailored solutions.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and collaborate with technical and business teams.
