The role of a Sales and Marketing Coordinator involves visiting doctors to create awareness about the lab's quality and services. This requires developing effective strategies to achieve test volumes, revenue, and budget targets. The coordinator is also responsible for organizing Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions in major hospitals and discussing various issues with doctors related to lab tests and services.
The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills and the ability to persuade people at all levels. A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, and at least two years of relevant experience in healthcare organizations are essential qualifications.
This position requires sound knowledge of computer software, particularly MS Office, and proficiency in data maintenance and analysis. The willingness to work in shifts and travel as per requirements is also necessary.
