Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Financial Analyst. This role will be responsible for managing the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process, ensuring adherence to all accounting principles and regulatory standards.

About the Role:

  • Perform tasks related to billing, invoicing, and cash application, including creating invoices, sending them to customers, and applying cash remittances and credit/adjustments.
  • Manage collections and disputes, including debt collection, bad debt provisioning, account closure, and duplicate deposits.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Set up and maintain customer master data in ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Billing/Invoicing: Create invoices, send them to customers, check/block/delete/change billing documentation on invoices, etc.
  • Cash Application: Apply cash remittances and credit/adjustments, investigate and manage unallocated cash, process post-dated cheques, bill of exchange payments, direct debit, posting of returned payments and cheques, and manage exceptions thereof.
  • Collections and Disputes: Debt collection, bad debt provisioning, account closure, duplicate deposits, following up for missing remittances, sending dunning notices, processing factoring receipts, resolving customer queries, and managing customer requests.
  • Customer Master Data Maintenance: Set up and maintain customer master data in ERP systems, including customer code creation, maintaining/amending/updating trade list price, surcharges, sales distribution, discounts, rebate setup, commissions, and royalties.
  • Process Updates: Provide updates, attend dashboard calls, respond to critical issues, establish effective relationships with partners within and outside the organization through written and verbal communication.
